How to setup a VPS or VDS Server
Step 1: Access Your Services
First, log in to your account at the Curt Creation Client Area.
On your Dashboard, look for the Your Active Products/Services section.
Locate your server (e.g., Singapore VDS - VDS-4).
Click the View Details button on the right side of the service row.
Step 2: Enter the Control Panel
Once you are in the Product Details page, you will see an overview of your server's specifications (CPU, Memory, Storage, etc.).
Scroll down to the Manage section.
Click the blue OPEN CONTROL PANEL button. This will automatically authenticate you and open the server management interface in a new window.
Step 3: Configure Server Identity
Since your server is new, you need to perform the initial setup.
Name: Enter a nickname for your server so you can identify it easily in your list.
Hostname: (Optional) Enter a fully qualified domain name (e.g.,
server.yourdomain.com).Timezone: Select your preferred local timezone from the dropdown menu.
Step 4: Choose Your Operating System
Scroll down to the Operating System list. You have several options including Linux distributions (AlmaLinux, Debian, Ubuntu, etc.) and Windows.
Click on your preferred OS family (e.g., Windows).
Select the specific version you wish to install (e.g., Windows Server 2019 Standard).
(Optional) Under Network, you can toggle the IPv6 Network switch if you require an IPv6 address.
Step 5: Finalize Installation
Click the large button at the bottom labeled Install with [Your Chosen OS].
A confirmation prompt will appear, warning you that the process can take up to 30 minutes.
Click Install Now.
