To power your high-performance applications with dedicated resources, you can set up a Fast Database instance through the Layer Portal. This provides an isolated MySQL environment optimized for both security and speed.

Step 1: Access the Fast Database Menu

  1. Log in to the Layer Portal.

  2. On the left-hand sidebar, click the FiveM dropdown menu.

  3. Select Fast Database from the options.

Step 2: Initialize Database Creation

  1. On the Fast Database overview page, click the green + Create Database button in the top right corner.

  2. A Create New Database window will appear.

Step 3: Configure Database Identity

  1. Database Name: Enter a unique name for your instance.

  2. Naming Requirements: Ensure your name follows these rules to avoid errors:

    • Use only lowercase letters, numbers, and underscores (_).

    • Do not use spaces, special characters, or capital letters.

  3. Click the blue Create button. The status will change to "Creating..." while the system provisions your dedicated resources.

Step 4: Retrieve Connection Credentials

  1. Once the process is finished, your new database will appear in the Your Databases list with an Active status.

  2. Locate your credentials in the table:

    • Database IP: The internal or external address used for connection.

    • Database Name & Username: Typically generated based on your input (e.g., 52_test).

    • Database Password: Click the Eye icon to reveal your secure password or the Copy icon to save it to your clipboard.
