How to Add Subusers to Your Game Server

Learn how to invite a subuser to help manage your game server — send an email invite and choose exactly which permissions, like console, start, and stop, they get.

A subuser is someone you invite to help manage your server. You decide exactly what they can do by ticking individual permissions, so they only get access to the parts you choose — they never see your account or billing. This guide shows you how to invite one and set their permissions.

[!NOTE] First you must learn how to access our game hosting panel: https://curtcreation.net/kb/game-hosting-panel/how-to-access-your-game-server

Step 1: Open the Users Page

  1. In your server's left sidebar, under ACCESS & LOGS, click Users.

  2. If you haven't invited anyone yet, you'll see a No Subusers message. Your subusers will appear here once added.

Step 2: Start an Invite and Enter Their Email

  1. Click Add User in the top-right.

  2. In the Create new subuser dialog, type the person's address in the User Email field, e.g., [email protected].

[!NOTE] Invite people you trust. A subuser will need their own account on the panel to accept the invite and manage your server.

Step 3: Choose Permissions and Send the Invite

  1. Scroll through the permission groups and tick only what this person needs. Permissions are organised into sections such as:

    • CONTROL — power actions and commands: console, start, stop, and restart.

    • USER — manage other subusers (they can never exceed their own permissions or edit their own account).

    • Further groups below cover files, backups, databases, schedules, and more.

  2. To grant a whole section at once, tick the checkbox on that group's header — or use SELECT ALL to grant everything.

  3. When you're happy with the selection, click INVITE USER to send the invite.

[!CAUTION] Grant only the permissions someone actually needs. For example, stop and restart let a subuser interrupt your server for everyone currently playing — hand those out carefully.

That's it — your invite is sent, and the new subuser appears in your Users list. You can come back anytime to edit their permissions or remove them. To check what a subuser has been doing, the Activity page under ACCESS & LOGS keeps a log of their actions.
